11/07/07 - Four members of the Pipe Band who where former Army Cadets were recognized
for their service with presentations of a Long Service Medal and Certificate.

Officer of the B.C. Regiment.

11/11/07 -
Retired Pipe Major Gordon Barrett was recognized for his Services to
the B.C. Regiment Irish Pipes and Drums for his many years of leadership and the building of the
Pipe Band by being awarded the position of an Honourary Captain with
the Regiment. At the same time a formal change of Command Parade
took place with Gordon Barrett retiring as Pipe Major and the formal
promotion of Pipe Sgt. Jordan Seguin to the position of Pipe Major of
the Irish Pipes & Drums. At that point Jordan commanding the
Pipe Band led the Regiment out of the drill hall and onto the Cenotaph
at Victory Square for the Remembrance Day Services.
11/11/07 -The British Columbia Regiment Irish Pipes and Drums attended the Remembrance Day ceremonies at the Vancouver Cenotaph and performed at Legion #148 in Burnaby. See our

11/22/07 -Pipe Major Jordan Seguin appointed as Music Host and Master of Ceremonies
at a number of Venues and events during the Celticfest 2008 festival
taking place throughout downtown Vancouver from March 12 to 16, 2008.
